The Little Caboose that did

Welcome to my new site. This site is dedicated to the memory of the Caboose trailer manufactured by Semaphore Industries in the 70′s. My father was one of the partners of Semaphore and I worked there during High School. A few years ago I got what little literature and articles were left from the Semaphore files that my parents kept which had dimishing over the years as things were “cleaned up”. Then about a year ago I saw an old post on a Yahoo Groups vintage trailer group site asking if anyone had any infomrmation on the old Caboose. I tried to find the original poster , but never did, but found a few other people with an interest in the old trailers. That started my searching the internet for what else I could find. I started scanning the few documents that I had, but they just sat in my computer while other projects took precedence. Then out of the blue a few weeks ago I got an email from a former worker at Semaphore, then another email from someone who saw my old post asking for more information. So now I am trying to put some information up about the Caboose.

The site is new, I’m sure it will change a lot in the next few weeks and after that I will judge how much work I am willing to put in based on how much interest there is, so if you are interested in hearing more, please let me konw.
